Welcome....to the wonderful world of.....ME!

This is to formally announce the official opening of this blog. YIPPIE!!!!
After so much work (actually very little but just indulge me), i think i've completed the desired work on the layout of the blog. Still not to my taste but i shall be adjusting as i go along.
The preceeding post basically sums up what i plan to do here which is to get in touch with that part of me which is just lying dormant. i.e. the extremely entertaining and fun part of me (pls keep indulging if you dont agree).
I plan to come here and drop all those stuff that interest/affect me daily(okay maybe not daily). I invite y'all to visit, make comments and contribute cos i need to be entertained too. Statistics show people in my line of job are actually suicidal so I NEED TO BE ENTERTAINED!!!

Well, since the opening falls on valentine (thats actually deliberate cos now i can easily remember the date), lemme just say what i have to say about valentine for me this year. For like ten years now that i've been actively involved in this 'valentine ritual', i've never had two (or maybe three) consecutive wonderful valentines. Its always one nice one followed by a sad one. Yeah, this year's a sad one (all thanks to the 'she-that-could-have-been'!). I'm not one of those sore people that try to run down vals day cos they are not getting game so i confess i'd rather always have a wonderful valentine year-in year-out with someone special to share with. But...

Anywayz, i still thank God. At least some people remembered me with wishes n gifts (both electronic and otherwise). So, I am wishing all a very wonderful valentine (including U, the 'she-that-could-have-been'!). Pray next year will be spent with the 'one'.

Like an albatross

I remember those days when i could fly,
Like an albatross, i was in the windy storm.....just flying
Then, for a brief second,... I took my mind off it
Paid attention to the 'rat-race', then became a victim of it

Can you imagine a flier in a 'rat-race'?
Destined to win but just like an albatross on ground...... awkward!

But just because i know i'm only gracious in flight,
I'm now flapping my wings again with all my might
Like an albatross, all I need is a few steps to take off
